The personality number is one of the core numbers in numerology.
Your Personality number is the first impression people get of you. It represents the parts of yourself that you are most ready and willing to reveal and helps you determine just how much you reveal and to whom.
This number acts as a buffer, screening out some people and situations you don’t want to deal with while welcoming the things in life that relate to your inner nature.
How to Calculate Your Personality Number
The personality number is calculated by using the numerology-char. Each letter in our alphabet is assigned a number.
It’s calculated based on our full name, but only the consonants are counted.
Many people have 3 official names, and several others have much more. Regardless, you can determine your personality number by first placing each letter of your name under the relevant number.
Then sum up the total of each of your names separately, ensuring you reduce each double-digit to a single-digit number.
Finally, sum up the single digits from each of your names to find your special number.
For example, if the name is John Rayan, the calculations will look like this:
John: 1 + 8 + 5 = 14 = 5
Rayan: 9 + 7 + 5 = 21 = 2 + 1 = 3
Next, sum up 5 and 3 to get 8.
The personality number is 8.
If you come across numbers 11, 22, or 33, do not reduce them further, as these are Master Numbers.
